Resilience – a useful "one word answer" to the recent increase in crises? An integral approach

In the era of globalization the notion of „resilience“ has to serve as a „one-word answer“ for a variety of different and unpredictable crises which are increasingly affecting individuals, organizations and companies alike. This is highly contested in theory and in practice. This Online-Presentation will look at current uses and applications of the notion of „resilience“. To what extent is resilience useful as an umbrella term for analyzing different types of crises (psychological, political, economic, ecological, social and other crises) on different system levels (individuals, organizations, societies)? And how can they be related to each other? What are the main pitfalls and further challenges?
